This first part of the semester has been fairly quiet for me with only one shooting trek so far. THat was to Salton Sea via Anza Borrego State Park. On the road down the Montezuma Grade is a wonderful rock outcrop I’ve shot several times and thought, this time, it really needed to be done in B&W. THen, when processing it decided it needed a little toning as the neitral gray was a bit cold for my tastes. So here is that shot.

Re workshops I’ve had to put off some decisions since I am waiting to hear when i can get the surgery done to replace my left shoulder and then how long it will before before i could expect to drive and actually conduct some outings. I’ll keep you informed.
This is really irritating since this SHOULD have been done over the Christmas Break but a mandatory meeting was called that interupted the process (and my place in the queue) and then, that so-called incredibly critical meeting was called off. Imagine my feelings of joy over that. Oh well. As more data becomes available I’ll try to get back to it.
